EJ has a unique ability to build genuine relationships and interact with everyone he meets; he is extremely driven and sets his sights on a goal then works tirelessly to achieve them. EJ has great presentation and sales skills that he has demonstrated these abilities during his roles in the entertainment capital of the world (Las Vegas) in college sports and the pros working for the Raiders. EJ has helped myself and Nike on many occasions with regards to hosting and entertaining athletes. This is a perfect example of his engaging personality. In my opinion EJ will be successful in life and be a huge asset to anyone he works with.

There are many things that I can say about EJ, but I’ll just talk about the energy he brings to the table and the importance of building relationships. You know you have an impact on an organization when, not only the head person, but other staff members reach out for advice. He had me understand that it started with me and no matter the pressure I was feeling I could still conquer any obstacle before me.

The transition from Pro Athlete to full time productive member of society is not only difficult but can be terrifying without the proper guidance, preparation and relationships that E.J. is capable of providing. God bless that child that knows exactly what he wants to do when he steps off that court or field. Far too often we as athletes don’t know the first step towards our next goal.

That’s where E.J.’s strength is most apparent. He wants nothing more but for you to continue your success. E.J. doesn’t come across as a business but more as a friend/mentor who knows his business.

Being a retired professional athlete, the transition period can be a challenge, EJ Cutliff came into life at the right time. A big brother, friend, mentor, EJ has taught me the power of networking and building relationships. You learn a lot just by hanging around him. He has an aura about him that is personable, I believe he truly cares for those he works with. The most important detail is he draws the best out of you, and that’s what you want in a mentor and friend.That’s where E.J.’s strength is most apparent. It was a pleasure working with Esoteric Sports Partnership. To bring them on for the first time to work our Hoops for Hope camp, the board was concerned what value he could bring.
